Hi, I'm Jake Lender.

I sit at the intersection of physical infrastructure and data — I worked as a Business Analyst embedded on the product management team at a Fortune 500 fiber network business, and I now manage electrical and fiber-optic installation projects in the field as a Project Manager with E-J Electric, one of the country's top-ranked electrical contractors. That combination is rare: most people who understand data systems have never stood in a tunnel watching a DAS or optical fiber install go in, and most people who install it have never sat close enough to the product side to see how that data actually gets used.

I help teams move from questions to decisions by managing the full data lifecycle — stakeholder discovery, solution design, data architecture, build, and enablement. Increasingly, I'm applying that same approach to physical infrastructure: helping electrical and telecom contractors get better visibility into their own projects through data.

What I do

*Field to system:** hands-on experience directing tunnel DAS and optical fiber installations — coordinating crews, vendors, and clients on $10M+ infrastructure projects

*Stakeholder to schema:** turn business goals into data models, pipelines, and reports

*Build & automate:** Python + SQL for cleaning and transformation; Power BI for decision-ready visuals; exploring lightweight AI-agents and workflows to reduce manual effort

*Outcomes:** faster decisions, fewer manual steps, measurable impact on revenue, operations, or cost

Where I'm headed

I'm building toward helping electrical and telecom infrastructure companies apply data — and eventually AI — to the physical systems they install and maintain: project reporting, installation monitoring, and eventually predictive tools for catching problems before they become outages.
